Stonham Barns sits in open mid-Suffolk countryside at Stonham Aspal, near Stowmarket. It began life as a farm and birds of prey sanctuary and has grown into a holiday park, retail village and events venue in one place. Cosgrove Leisure Parks took over the park in July 2026, keeping the Stonham Barns name.
The park has Static Caravans and Lodges, Our plans are to modernise the accommodation, add to the activities and improve the shops, introducing changes gradually so that guests and owners see continuity while the work goes on.
Plenty on the doorstep
Few parks have this much within a short stroll: more than 40 shops in the retail village, a nine-hole golf course, an adventure putting course and indoor golf simulators, fishing lakes, a traditional funfair, play areas and walks, and the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary. The Mid-Suffolk Showground on site hosts around 30 public events a year, from car shows to country music festivals.
