Wayside is a year-round leisure park in a quiet, secluded setting at Minster, near Ramsgate. Tucked away in a picturesque and secluded setting, our enchanting leisure park offers an idyllic escape from the hectic pace of everyday life. With a diverse range of new and used homes and lodges for sale, we have the ideal retreat to suit your unique taste and budget.

But what truly sets us apart is Wayside’s vibrant sense of community. As you step onto our grounds, you’ll be embraced by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy delightful culinary experiences at our inviting bistro, sip on refreshing drinks at our lively bar, and engage in friendly banter with fellow holiday home owners who quickly become like family.
We sell both new and used holiday homes and lodges here, in a range of styles and budgets. Owners have use of a bistro and bar, a library and a laundry room, and post is delivered to shared post boxes on the park.

A park with a social life

There is always something going on if you want it: regular film nights, bingo, quizzes and card nights, plus barbecues and cheese and wine evenings. Every year owners compete in Wayside in Bloom, with a grand prize of £1,000.

Getting here

Wayside is on Way Hill, Minster, Ramsgate CT12 4HW. Ramsgate and Broadstairs are close by, Dover is around 45 minutes by car and Folkestone around 55 minutes.

Dogs on beaches

Thanet District Council: from 1 May to 30 September dogs are not allowed at any time on Minnis Bay (main area), Viking Bay, Margate Main Sands and Ramsgate Main Sands (harbour end). Botany Bay, Joss Bay, Stone Bay, West Bay and St Mildred's Bay are closed to dogs from 10am to 6pm. Dogs are welcome all year at Grenham Bay, Epple Bay, Dumpton Gap, Kingsgate Bay, Foreness Point, Palm Bay, Ramsgate Eastcliff and the Western Undercliff. Keep dogs on a lead on the promenades.

A little history

Minster in Thanet is one of the oldest villages in England. An abbey was founded here around 670 on land given by the King of Kent, and Minster Abbey is still home to a community of nuns. Saint Augustine is said to have landed nearby at Ebbsfleet in 597 when he brought Christianity to the English.
